On December 9, 2010, June 11, 2009, and June 12, 2008, the National Quality Center (NQC) hosted technical assistance webconferences on integrating the HAB core clinical measures into quality management programs. HAB’s HIV/AIDS Core Clinical Performance Measures for Adults & Adolescents are critical for HIV programs.  These measures can be used by all programs funded by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, at either at the provider or system level.  This session reviews the HAB’s core clinical measures as well as HAB’s expectations around these measures, and provides strategies and examples from fellow grantees on how to incorporate these measures into your quality management program.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the purpose and definitions of HAB Measures as well as HAB expectations for using these measures (presented by HAB)
  • Learn and apply strategies to effectively integrate HAB measures into your QM program
  • Learn best practices and lessons learned from peer grantees to test in your program
